Abstract

The research aims to identify the correlation between creative expression and academic achievement among fourth-grade science students in physics. This helps in descriptive application. The research population consisted of fourth-grade science students at Al-Namariq Secondary School in the Greater Qadisiyah Education Directorate for Classical Dance (2024-2025). The researcher used the Creativity Penetration Scale, which consisted of (30) items, and the second experimental test for physical education, which consisted of (40) items of a five-point scale. The validity of both instruments was confirmed by presenting them to specialists in psychology and measurement and evaluation, as well as their reliability. It was identified using Bach's alpha coefficient, which was (0.84) for scientific creativity and (0.86) for the achievement test. Researchers relied on statistical methods to analyze the items of both scales using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Excel 2010. The research concluded that fourth-grade science students do not possess a high level of absorption, as indicated by the statistical results of the sample mean and its associated t-value. Furthermore, there is a positive, but not statistically significant, exclusion correlation between absorption and academic achievement among fourth-grade science students. Additionally, the students' ability to differentiate directly contributes to raising their academic achievement level. The research also formulated a framework for applications in this field.
