Educational competencies of Arabic language teachers in middle schools

Abstract

This research aims to identify the teaching competencies of Arabic language teachers in intermediate schools. The researcher posed an open-ended question to a selected pilot sample consisting of (12) teachers (7 male and 5 female) regarding the determination of the teaching competencies of Arabic language teachers. The main research sample consisted of (25) teachers distributed across four intermediate schools.The researcher adopted the questionnaire as a tool to achieve the research objective, and the results were statistically analyzed using the weighted mean, the percentage weight, and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The researcher used the percentage as a calculation method. The research results identified the questionnaire results, and their intensity ranged between (2.92 - 2.04) and their percentage weight ranged between (97.33 - 68%). At the end of the research, the researcher presented a set of recommendations and suggestions
