Abstract

This research aims to investigate the importance of the brainstorming strategy and the free writing technique and their role in developing written expression skills among third intermediate grade students. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach and reveals that brainstorming significantly stimulates creative thinking and idea generation, while free writing enhances linguistic fluency and reduces psychological barriers to writing. The research recommends integrating both strategies into Arabic language curricula and providing teacher training for their effective implementation.
