Life Management for Teachers of Students with Special Needs in Basic Education in Duhok Governorate Center

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of life management among teachers of students with special needs in basic education in the center of Duhok Governorate. The research also sought to identify statistically significant differences in life management levels based on the research variables of gender (male-female)، years of experience، and humanities specialization. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach as it was the most suitable methodology for the nature and objectives of the study. The study sample consisted of teachers working with special education students in schools in the center of Duhok Governorate during the 2025-2026 academic year. To achieve the research objectives، the researchers developed a "Life Management" scale consisting of several items covering different aspects of the concept، while ensuring the psychometric properties of the instrument. In terms of validity (apparent validity through expert review) and reliability (using Cronbach's alpha coefficient) to ensure the accuracy of the results.
