Abstract

This study, entitled "The Universality of the Qur'anic Discourse and the Call for Peace," aims to demonstrate the humanity of the Islamic call by clarifying the universality of the Qur'anic discourse. To achieve its objectives, the researcher employed a descriptive-inductive approach, striving for neutrality and impartiality in gathering information and expressing scholarly opinions. The study's findings confirm the universality of the Islamic Qur'anic discourse, supported by a collection of Qur'anic verses and Prophetic traditions that describe Islam's approach to dealing with others, regardless of the people to whom the message was directed. The Islamic discourse prioritizes human dignity and honor, safeguarding them as fundamental Islamic values. Furthermore, the researcher highlights the humanity of Islam in its treatment of those who differ in belief, nationality, and other differences found in all human societies. The researcher distinguished between the term "Western globalization" and "Islamic universalism." Universalism embraces pluralism and preserves the identities of diverse peoples, while globalization is a coercive approach that imposes a specific ideology on others, serving the goals of Western imperialism. In conclusion, the researcher offered findings and recommendations that benefit our society and strive to preserve the gains of the Islamic call.
