Abstract

Islam is a religion that accords special attention to young people and is deeply concerned with their guidance. Indeed, its reformative vision extends beyond the youth to encompass the guidance and rectification of all those who are called to the faith, ultimately aiming at the reform of society as a whole. It was this comprehensive reformative mission that gave rise to Islamic civilization, which derived all the foundations of its existence, the components of its continuity, and the causes of its growth and prosperity from Islam itself, owing to its comprehensive methodology for the reform of both the individual and society. To set humanity on the right course and rectify deviations, Allah, the Exalted, sent our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) with a blessed and noble message dedicated to the reform of individuals and communities alike. Through its corrective methodology, this message clarified everything that people require for the sound conduct of their religious and worldly affairs, encompassing acts of worship, social transactions, and all other aspects of human life. The corrective processes and remedial approaches embodied in the Prophetic methodology are founded upon lofty principles, noble moral values, just regulations, and comprehensive foundations. Consequently, the entire world stands in need of seeking refuge under the guidance of this methodology, as it offers effective solutions to problems at all levels—military, economic, political, and social—as well as to the diverse challenges confronting human life. No nation can attain genuine prosperity and well-being without addressing such challenges. The Prophetic approach to reform and correction is fundamentally grounded in the supreme principle of Islamic law: the realization of all legitimate interests (maṣāliḥ) and the prevention of harms (mafāsid). This enables it to remain relevant and responsive to the changing circumstances and continuous developments of human life.Indeed, the Islamic call (da‘wah) is, at its core, a reformative message founded upon a sound and well-established methodology. It seeks the reform of creed, legislation, morality, and every dimension of Islamic life, to the extent that reform has become a defining characteristic of Muslim society in its conduct, interactions, and ethical behavior. What a profound and comprehensive message of da‘wah this truly is.From this perspective emerges the significance of the present study, which examines the Prophetic methodology for correcting the mistakes of young people and investigates its impact on the effectiveness of calling people to Allah.
